Cookie Policy

A short, plain-English guide to how PolicyAtlas uses cookies and similar technologies — and how you can control them.

This page is maintained by PolicyAtlas — an initiative of the African Skills and Innovation Network (ASIN). It describes our current practices. Nothing on this page constitutes a certification, legal advice or a warranty. Contact us if you need customer-specific commitments.
Section 01

What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files placed on your device by websites you visit. They are widely used to make websites work, or work more efficiently, and to provide information to the operators of the site.

Section 02

Categories we use

  • Strictly necessary — required to sign you in, keep you signed in and route your requests securely.
  • Preferences — remember display choices such as light/dark mode and region.
  • Analytics — aggregate, anonymised usage information used to understand how the product is used and to improve it.
Section 03

Third parties

We work with a small number of trusted providers who set cookies on our behalf, including our hosting provider and our analytics tooling. We do not use advertising cookies.

Section 04

Your controls

  • Most browsers let you refuse or delete cookies through their settings.
  • Disabling strictly-necessary cookies will prevent parts of the product from working (for example, staying signed in).
  • You can email us at any time to ask which cookies we currently set.
Section 05

Changes

If we change the cookies we use, we'll update this page and, where required by law, ask you to reconfirm your preferences.
